Hi Guys! So I mentioned last week that a big reason for our bedroom refresh was to have some photos taken of our family. I got the photos back and thought I would share some with you!!! They were all taken by KaLee Renee Photography
Usually my husband hates being in photos, but this lifestyle shot was so easy for him. No smiling and looking at the camera. Just having a good time and getting our boring, perfect, happy, crazy, everyday life documented. We loved working with KaLee! If you are in Utah and need a photographer, she is amazing. You’ll love her!

After our photo shoot, I decided that I needed one last update to really complete this space- new frames! The ones I had were undersized and we didn’t have anything for my husband’s side of the bed. So I ordered frames from my favorite place- Framed and Matted! Guys I love them because you just tell them how big your art is, what color the frame and mat is, and just push order. You don’t have to mail them your art (because, honestly, who has time to do that?!). And then you get a high quality frame! First up, I got the perfect frame for my vanity:
Awhile ago, I showed you a bunch of ways to style a bar cart. I ended up using the cart next to my vanity to hold beauty products. Isn’t it perfect for that?!
Then I framed this camera printable that sits on my side of the bed. Isn’t that light pink second mat so pretty?!
Above my bed, I framed my favorite abstract art. Before I had a white print and it was too boring. I love that the blue mat adds in a ton of color. Doesn’t it look so sophisticated?!
On my husband’s side of the bed I let him choose what he wanted to frame. He actually has a ton that he wants to frame- haha. He’s a big sport’s fan and wants to frame every ticket from every football game he has ever attended. I am not kidding. It’ll happen- on the adjacent wall. But I suggested something simple for his night stand so he framed a ticket from the Sugar Bowl and I put it in a set of grey mats to go with the color scheme, but still feel manly.
So there you have it! Right now I am considering my room done. One day I will paint the rest of it white and extend the molding. Maybe get new carpet and a pink arm chair. Hey, a girl can dream!
