I have slowly been adding pink to my house because it makes me happy. So what makes me really happy? A holiday where you can add even more pink-haha! I thought and thought what I wanted to do for my Valentine’s decor this year and I kept coming back to the idea of a million pink hearts everywhere, so that is what I did!

I started off at Michael’s where I bought a heart paper punch (I got the large 2-3/8″ size. Here is a similar one available on Amazon). I then gathered all of the scrapbook paper that I have that is pink (it’s all super old, so I don’t have sources, sorry!). I used a variety of different solid pink papers and some patterns (I tried to keep the patterns subtle- pink on pink).
I had a total of 12 different papers and cut about 10-15 out of each. Note, this is doable without the punch (which is $8 with a coupon), but it is so much faster and uniform with it, plus now I have it for future use.
I pulled out my sewing machine and ran them though. I’ve never sewed with paper before, but it was pretty easy! My thread broke a few times, but other than that it was about the same as sewing with fabric. At the last minute I added a fabric bunting to the mirror to break things up a bit. I hung up a love print I had in my closet (Here is the link to the Love print) and I was good to go! I definitely kept it simple, but I am thrilled with how it turned out!
