Last year was our first year in this house. Figuring out the holiday decorating while renovating was a lot to do. This year, I feel much more settled and want to go all out with the Christmas decor! Yesterday’s task, put garland around the doorframe leading to the stairs and kitchen. I figured, paper would be a festive and affordable. Here’s how to make a DIY paper holly garland.

I’ve been working on redoing the hall/butler’s pantry in my house. It started as a dark space and project, by project it’s being transformed! Awhile ago, I saw on Joanna Gaine’s Instagram an oversized letter board. Personally, I think this will be the latest letter board trend! I decided to make my own for this hallway. Here’s her’s:

Hi friends! I have been working on the little hallway between my kitchen and bathroom. My house was built in 1905 so it has some quirky corners. I call this my butler’s pantry (even though it’s just used for linen and cleaning supply storage. But, hey, if a girl wants to feel fancy, who cares about technicalities?! 😉
