This is the newest release from the Spice Village! I was sooooo excited to see the paper towel holder because the vintage one is hard to get and majorly expensive 🙈

A gingham garbage can? Say less! 🩵🗑️

I thrifted this little trash can for $2 for our playroom. But it was so ugly!

So I added a mint gingham pattern with paint, put a knob and bow on top, and finished it off with tiger and peony decoupage. 🌸🐅

I love it now and think it’s the cutest garbage can I’ve ever seen! What do you think?

Run to the thrift store- find 3 coordinating plates in 3 sizes (dinner, dessert, saucer) 🍽️

Drill holes in the middle with a masonry drill bit. 🕳️

Then use tiered tray hardware kit to put everything together! So easy and then you get a super cute tray from thrifted dishes! 🎀🙌🏻

For the record, this chair is so comfortable now! 🪑

I thrifted this $15 rattan chair and knew immediately I wanted to cross stitch the back! 🧵

I used a free pattern and yarns I had on hand. It took a few hours, but the flower is so cute! 🌸

I also added a ruffle chair cushion that I thrifted. Now it’s perfectly my style! 💗

I’ve been having so much fun thrifting and finding pieces to freshen up my home for spring! Here’s what I thrifted and how I styled it! 🏡

1. A cane chair for $15 that I added some cross stitch and a ruffle floral cushion to! 💐
2. $2 garbage can. I painted it gingham and added some decoupage tigers 🐅
3. Mismatched plates can make the cutest platter! I added a $1 gingham vase for the perfect centerpiece 💗
4. If you have house plants, thrift plates and saucers to go under them! They’re beautiful and wash up nicely 🍽️

I love popping into the one in my town or whenever I’m traveling I find the closest one as well!

They are great because they help reduce waste by keeping items in use as long as possible.
It’s such an environmentally friendly way to shop- millions of pounds of goods are kept out of the landfill yearly.

I get to treasure hunt and they provide jobs in my local community. It’s definitely a win-win situation.

I knew it’d be cold when I was in Europe, so I wanted a wool scarf 🧣

But that was not in the budget so I learned to crochet! Which had a steep learning curve. But once I got it, I loved the rhythm of it 🧶

I made my scarf 90” long so I could tie it like a bow! 🎀 It also looks cute straight down or is super warm wrapped around your face and neck

I found out that Easter markets exist in Vienna! S

I found out that Easter markets exist in Vienna! So I HAD to go see them for myself. 🐣🐇🪺

These are in front of Schönbrunn Palace and at Am Hof Square in Vienna, Austria! They’re usually open the 2 weeks leading up to Easter. 🌸

If you love spring, these are for you! There’s lots of eggs and bunnies to buy. As well as market food and artisan goods (so there’s something for everyone). The bigger Easter market at the palace had kid activities too! (a maze, rides, crafts, and mini golf). 🐰

Anyway, when the weather was good, I loved it! Think fair or farmers market food in a gorgeous setting with shopping and you get the local culture vibes! 🎀
