And the sun took a step back, the leaves lulled themselves to sleep and Autumn was awakened.”
Who else loves fall?! I love the crisp weather, the falling leaves, getting cozy under a blanket, and lots and lots of hot cocoa. A few days ago, on a particularly lovely fall day, I took Don up to the mountains for a little adventure.
We bundled up and went for a hike. Making sure to gather berries (but not eat them! Imagine me saying that in my best mom voice 😉 ), leaves, and sticks.
One day I’ll cherish this picture. Sometimes he still lets me help him when we’re climbing. I love his little hand in mine.
Of course, we had to find water. Don wanted to get in so badly, but it was definitely too cold for that.
So while I love pretty much everything about fall, I can definitely feel the dry air on my skin. Utah is technically a dessert and I can sure tell during the colder months! I wanted to share my routine for keeping my skin nice and hydrated.
Before my bath, I gather my essentials- a nice candle, flowers, and Cetaphil DailyAdvance Lotion. That way, right when I get out I can lather it on. It makes such a difference in my skin!
I have been doing a lot of DIY lately and my skin is showing it. Let me tell you, tiling does a number on my hands. Especially grouting, it just pulls the moisture out of my skin. The only cream I could find that would get them back to normal (and better!) is the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream.
I keep it right on my bathroom vanity so I can put it on before bed and whenever I need a little extra love on my hands. One thing I really love is that the lotion doesn’t leave any residue on your hands. Lastly, I like that it doesn’t have a strong scent so everyone in my family can use it too.
I hope you are loving fall! If you are also feeling the change of weather in your skin, check out Cetaphil’s amazing moisturizers!
