Hey friends! I’ve been starting on a few exciting projects at my house. Like my fireplace makeover and possibly doing a picket fence! There’s nothing that gets me more jazzed up than new things to makeover at my house! Since those aren’t quite ready to share more on, I want to share my favorite courses on Skillshare with you today.
The last time I did the promotion for the free classes, I got a request to share my favorites. Well, I totally dropped the ball then, but figured that I have a second chance now!
Note, Skillshare pays me every few months to advertise with a few Instagram stories where I give away 2 months free access to courses. BUT after getting lots of questions on what courses I like most from them, I wanted to write this post in the hopes that it can be helpful. So this blog post isn’t part of a paid promotion, just me trying to share what I love so you can take advantage of those free classes ;).
My Favorite Courses on Skillshare
One of my personal goals is to always be learning. The way I do that is to take online courses. I LOVE that I can go at my own pace in the comfort of my home and learn what I want. The internet is the best- isn’t it!?
My personal goal is to always be taking a course. I start one, finish it, and then move on to the next thing I want to master. Sometimes it takes me forever to get through one during busy times, but I like the feeling of continuously learning. It’s helped me grow in so many parts of my life!
If you’re interested, I have a blog post called “how to start a blog” that goes over my favorite blogging online classes. I’m telling you, I’m super serious about learning! I loved school so this is my way to keep that feeling!
If you’re not familiar with Skillshare, it’s an online education platform with a bunch of different classes. The thing that attracted me to it is how the courses are project-based. So that means that you’ll have a completed project at the end of most courses.
On top of that, a lot of the courses are pretty short! Some of them are even 8 minutes, while others are an hour or two.
I wanted to share some of the courses I’ve enjoyed the most. Below you’ll find my fave courses on interior design, flower arranging, photography, photo editing and video.
And if you want to try it out, you can get two months free with this unique link. Note, I’m not paid extra if more people sign up, I just wanted to include the link here to be helpful :).

Conclusion
Once you sign up for Skillshare, just use the search menu to find the ones that peaked your interest! One thing that I recommend is to set aside 20 minutes every week day for online courses. Find a time that you can set aside every day. It’s a pretty small time period, but it really feels good to learn new skills and hobbies!
Which one of these courses look fun to you? Tell me what one you’d try in the comments. I’ve been taking Emily Henderson’s styling class and really enjoying it!
If you love it, pin it!
