Hey friends! So, I recently shared the before/after pics in a one year update in our Fairview Cottage home. And I got a lot of questions about my record player stand! So I decided to roundup some of my favorites and share them with you here!
The Prettiest Record Player Stand Roundup
So, my record player is one of my favorite things in my home. It’s retro, nostalgic and just fun! And I’ve always loved having music playing in the background while I’m at home. Plus, call me old-fashioned but record players have a classic sound that you don’t really get from a regular speaker!
I remember when I first got my record player years ago, everyone thought I was crazy for wanting to listen to music in such a retro way. But I love that I can thrift records for an amazing price! And there’s something so beautiful about flipping through records and choosing one to play.
It’s also something Don and I enjoy together. He loves seeing the artist we’re playing on the record cover and picks the music based off the pictures he likes. The Beach Boys is one of his favorites!
Whenever I share a picture of my record player, I get a ton of questions about it! It’s on an acrylic stand that isn’t specifically for records, but works perfectly for them! I love the set-up since it’s both perfect for playing music and looks cute in my living room.

One of the things you have to watch for when you’re choosing out a stand is the dimensions of the bottom shelf. Since most record covers are 12.375 inches, you’ll need a table that can accommodate that size.
Another important thing to note that when you’re storing your records, they need to be kept upright. Otherwise, if you store them horizontally, they’ll get ring marks and become warped. That pretty much ruins them over time. Sad face… So keep those records upright!
So, I decided to roundup some of my favorite record player stands for you! All of these have enough shelf space that will store records vertically. #1 is the acrylic stand that I have in my living room. But of course #2, the pink one also has my heart!
