she shed progress
The last time I shared the She Shed, it looked like this- a storage shed. My husband and I have done a bunch of clean up and demo to prep the space. I was hoping to share a tutorial on putting up the shiplap, but we aren’t quite done yet. Here’s how it looks right now-
Before putting up the shiplap we found out that the footing board was completely rotted because there was soil on the outside of the shed that was seeping in water. That board had to be pulled out and the soil had to be excavated. So though it doesn’t look that exciting, this is some major progress!
something to look forward to
Eventually, the shiplap will go all the way up the peak of the ceiling and be painted pink! It’ll look so stunning. And the other exciting news is that the light arrived for the she shed. This pretty Sputnik chandelier from Kichler lighting will be installed in the peak-
After the shiplap wall is complete, I’ll be hanging shelves for pots and some cute accessories. My husband is going to build me a custom work table. Each side will be skirted and the middle will be open for a counter stool. Here’s the inspiration photo for the table. I’m planning on using this floral fabric for the skirting.

At the work bench, I need a place to sit on I work. I’m really excited for the stool I found! It’s buffalo plaid and will go perfectly!
In the middle of the room, I have space for a small table and chairs under the chandelier. That just arrived and I can’t wait to set it all up! Here’s a sneak at what it’ll look like:
So everything is pretty much here and ready to go, it’s just getting around to assembling it and putting ups the walls. Right now, the laundry room is the main priority, but we are sneaking in work time in here as we can. Eventually, we’ll be pouring a concrete floor so that we don’t have to live with the pea gravel. Then I’ll lay down a rug and it’ll feel really finished!
I have a bunch of accessories all ready to go for she shed, but my new obsession is looking for cute outdoor accessories. Especially since it’s warming up and feels so nice to be outside! Here are my favorites right now-
she shed accessories
rattan planter the cutest seat for a plant! / pink garden gloves I got a Target gift card for my birthday and these came home with me! / gardening tool set I LOVE that these are brass with a decorative handle. So gorgeous! / outdoor pillow because who doesn’t need a pink parrot pillow with pom pots?! / watering can it can be hard to find a cute watering can, but this one is gorgeous! / garden greeting pot I love how graphic these are! I think it’d be fun to try and DIY these (but they are affordable enough to just buy) / pineapple wind chime the cutest wind chime ever! / townhouse pot I have a signs! But some go too farmhouse style for me. I like that this one is on enamel and feels vintage.
Stay tuned for some She Shed updates next week. Things are (hopefully) about to get exciting!!!
