Next week is St. Patrick’s day. To be honest, this isn’t usually a holiday that I celebrate. Except for the fact that it usually marks the end of winter in Utah. Oh, and Girl Scout cookies are available (which are two things definitely worth being happy about). BUT having a little kid makes me want to decorate for every holiday, so I’m embracing it!
I have some cute shelves in my kitchen and I choose those to decorate for St. Patrick’s Day. The top already has my rainbow vases on them. These were glass vases that I found at a thrift store for $0.50 each and then I painted the inside with different colors of chalk paint. It was a fun and cheap DIY!

Here’s my whole vision for these shelves– add some affordable St. Patrick’s Day decor that I grabbed at the store with things I already had at home. I picked up those cute flags from the Target Dollar Spot and the Shamrocks and gold coins are from Michaels.
This rainbow wall hanging is a fun and easy DIY! Here’s a link to the tutorial if you want to check that out (it’s kind of perfect for St. Patrick’s day).
I wanted to add a piece of art that was specific to St. Patrick’s day, but not too “leprechaun” if you know what I mean ;). So I made this rainbow lucky print and I’m really excited about how it turned out!
I thought I’d make it available in case anyone else wants it! It cost me less than a dollar to print it! To get the free download/ printable, just fill out your information below and you’ll get an email with a link to download. This will also add you to my super awesome newsletter.
This was a fun little project- the bright colors are so happy (usually these shelves are more subdued)! And my son likes it too- which is definitely a win win. Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s day?
