I’ve been on the hunt for some special and affordable wallpaper for my office. When I saw the above image on Amazon for a $100 mural, I was stopped in my tracks. Don’t you love the vintage botanical look?! I ordered it right away, and spoiler alert, its a goooood wallpaper!
I wallpapered the corner of my office. As a warning, you need to use paste with this paper. My roll came with a pack of paste. I just mixed it with water, rolled it on the wall with a paint roller, and stuck the wallpaper to the paste. I’d never used paste with wallpaper before, but it ended up not being a big deal.
is this easy to put up?
This mural comes in 4 horizontal sections (2 on the left and 2 on the right). I am used to hanging vertical pieces, so again, this was an adjustment. I was able to hang 3 out of the 4 alone, but needed help for the 4th. Personally, I’d suggest having 2 people on hand for this (as it makes it MUCH easier). The paper lines up nicely and with a second person, its not too tricky.
The company who makes the wallpaper made a video on how to put it up. This helped me, so hopefully this is helpful to you too!
why didn’t you wallpaper to the ceiling?
This mural comes in one size- it goes up the wall 8′-3″ and is 12′-1″ wide. I have tall ceilings, so I have a gap between the top of the mural and the ceiling. Once I add crown molding and trim along the top of the wallpaper, it’ll look amazing!

The wallpaper is a HUGE scale and makes a big statement- I love it! There is some writing on the mural that I’m not a huge fan of. Everything else is perfection on this though!
The background of the mural is a nice beige. The flowers and pink and the leaves have a grey tint to it. The colors are nice and soothing! I am a big fan. Plus its so affordable. This would be so cute in a nursery, behind a sofa, on in a bedroom.
