It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And guess what? I’ve actually started shopping early. I usually start on Black Friday, but with slow shipping times and messed up supply chains, I’m jumping in early. And it feels good! I thought I’d pull together a home gift guide in case you have a homebody, a new homeowner, or a home decor lover in you life.
This blog post was written as part of my collaboration with eBay. All opinions are my own

Holiday Decor- Pink Village House, Custom House Ornament and Staffordshire Dog Ornament
Pink Village House If you’re headed to parties this year, I think bringing a piece of decor that matches the host’s house is a great gift! I’m starting to collect these village houses this year (see a peek above!) and they come in so many cute colors!
Custom House Ornament The company who makes this ornament has a huge collection of custom Christmas ornaments. There’s a bunch for little kids too! You can customize what they say which makes these cute ornaments even better. Growing up, my grandma gave each grandchild a special ornament she hand picked out for each child. I loved that tradition!
Staffordshire Dog Ornament– Last year, my sister randomly mailed me a beautiful ornament that perfectly matched my home and what I love. I was so touched that she thought about me! And now every year when I pull that out, I can remember her thoughtfulness. This Staffordshire dog ornament is right on trend this year. I ordered one for my tree!
Office items-Office Chair and Wall Calendar
Office Chair– if you know a writer or someone working from home, a beautiful office chair is a great gift. My desk chair is a wood dining table and I’d love to have a pretty chair like this to work in!
Wall Calendar– Every year I buy myself a Rifle Paper Co. Calendar. I love the art and there’s big boxes for writing in (I’m obviously a planner). I’d give this with a nice pen.
Books- Vivid and Nathlie Lete Book
Vivid Book I collect beautiful home decor books. Every year I put a few on my list for Christmas and love looking at it by the tree during those slow weeks during the holidays. If you have a book and home lover in your life, this one looks beautiful.
Nathalie Lete Book One of my favorite artists is Nathalie Lete. This book is a compilation of 200 pieces of her artwork. This would also be great to get and cut out the pages out to frame.
Music- Record Player and Mindy Gledhill Record
Record Player About 10 years ago, my husband got me a record player for Christmas. I still have it! It’s wearing out so I’ve been looking for a beautiful one. They are functional and decor. This is especially a great gift for a thrifter since they can find vintage records to play!
Mindy Gledhill Record– If I gave someone a record player, I’d buy a vinyl album that the person would love. This record is by my favorite musician Mindy Gledhill.
Entertainment- Wildflower Puzzle and Scrabble
Wildflower Puzzle I don’t do puzzles on a normal day (because I get obsessed and can’t stop working on them- lol), but at get togethers, I love putting one together. I think getting or giving a beautiful puzzle is a great gift, especially in the quiet days of winter.
Scrabble– There’s a bunch of games in the “vintage bookshelf edition” games. They look like books on a shelf, are uniform sizes, and so beautiful. Essentially, you can play a fun game and when not in use, it’s easy to store. Because why are normal board games all different (and very awkward) sizes?!
Kitchen items- Cast Iron Cocotte, Cheese Spreaders and Custom Cheese and Bread Server
Cast Iron Cocotte– If you know a chef, a cast iron pot is a thoughtful gift. I just bought this one and it’s heavy, made in France, and is what professional cooks use. I can’t wait to try it out!
Custom Cheese and Bread Server– this beautiful wood cheese and bread server can be easily customized. There’s a few options, but I think a last initial (like shown) would be simple. These ship quickly and would look beautiful as functional decor in a kitchen.
Cheese Spreaders– Confession, I haven’t gotten on the charcuterie band wagon yet. Meaning I haven’t made my own. That will change this year! I think these cheese spreaders would be a great gift with a cheese board. And maybe cheese!
Living Room items- Bust Planter, Pillow Covers, Blush Weighted Blanket, Candle Snuffers, and Volcano Candle
Bust Planter– speaking of trends, busts are a big interior look this year. This with fresh flowers in it would be beautiful to give to a host of a party. It’s a tiny bit weird, but still classic.
Blush Weighted Blanket– I love sleeping under a weighted blanket. A cozy blanket in a pretty color makes a nice gift. This comes in a few color, weight, and size options. I think the faux fur and the soft fabric looks dreamy!
Volcano Candle– I love the smell of Volcano candles. I’ve received a few as gifts over the years and always love them the scent in my house! This pink option is gorgeous.
Candle Snuffers– If you give a candle, add a candle snuffer and wick trimmer. I obviously love a themed gift and think that planning a few items that work together feels more thoughtful. The gold color on these are beautiful!
Pillow Covers– When I was in my first home, I received a few gifts that I still remember for my house. I still pull those items out and remember how overwhelmed I was at living on my own and really appreciating those who helped me start out. I think a few pillow covers and a pillow insert would be a nice gift for a new homeowner.
Floral Rug
Floral Rug A small rug will work on a porch under a doormat, in front of the kitchen sink, and in a bathroom. Since they can go so many places and are affordable, they are fun to give. There’s endless options of rugs, it’s easy to find one for different homes.
I hope this home gift guide has been helpful! I love giving a good gift that someone absolutely loves. And can you believe that all these items are from eBay?! They have such a great variety of items. All of these are new and would make great gifts. You can shop all my selections here.
