my rainbow obsession

One of the things I love the most about my house in Utah is how colorful it is! I experimented with a lot of color and mixing it with white to balance it out.

Honestly, it all makes me so happy. Did you know that the colors you live with can actually influence your mood?

The first place I did a big rainbow project was the stairs. After that, I was totally hooked.

From there I DIY’d big piece of rainbow wall art in the living room. Then came painting my laundry room floor with rainbow stripes. I even painted my backyard fence rainbow.

While this might be way too much for some people (though I hope you love it), I feel like it’s 100% me. And I can’t wait to find other places to bring more color into my home.

I also painted a smaller version of the rainbow strip wall in our playhouse. To switch things up, I painted each piece of shiplap a different color and it was really easy to do! No having to paint perfect stripes!
