So I put my Valentine’s decor up early this year. My house felt so sad without the Christmas decor, and then my sister gave me a bag of felt balls, so I put my Valentine’s decor up.
I reused my heart garland from last year (full tutorial here) and used my Letterboard for a little seasonally appropriate quote 🙂I strung the felt balls and made a super long garland. You can buy felt balls at wholesale here or on Etsy here.
I used tape to hang them. The felt ball garland is super heavy, so I had to use corners of picture frames or nails to hold it up.
I also updated my mirror in here! I used to have a black mirror that felt super heavy, so I put up the brass Target mirror up and it makes it feel fresh and lighter.
I also wanted to point out this bluetooth speaker that I got for Christmas. It is so pretty (aren’t the scalloped speakers cute?!) and I love how it sounds. So if you want a pretty speaker- I’ve got you covered 😉
Growing up, Valentine’s day meant leaving a treat on the doorstep of the people I loved most. I remember the thrill of leaving it and hoping my friends and neighbors felt loved. I’ve decided to continue this tradition with Don, so we got our two favorite Valentine’s treats (chocolate and conversation hearts) and made them as pretty as possible. Have you guys shopped at Papermart? They have such a good selection of ribbon- can you get over that buffalo check?! And that thick light pink grosgrain is delicious. We also found the heart shaped boxes, chocolate boxes, and crepe paper there. Now it’s time to do some delivering (if they don’t get eaten first 😉 )!
