The Best Sources for Removable Wallpaper
One of the quickest changes you can make to a room is to wallpaper. It adds so much personality, color, and pattern! I think every room needs one big dose of pattern and wallpaper will give you that in a few hours! Take my dining room for example- it was so boring and then I added one wall of wallpaper. Now it’s my favorite room in the house!
So to start off, let’s talk about what exactly is removable wallpaper?
Well, removable wallpaper is just like it sounds- a type of wallpaper that is easy to take down. It’s essentially a big sticker that won’t take down the paint behind it when it comes down.
Also, you might hear it called peel and stick or temporary wallpaper. It’s all the same!
Whether you are a renter, in college, or just like change, removable wallpaper is an affordable and amazing solution to add character and color to any dull room.
Another benefit to removable wallpaper is that you can easily switch it out if you get sick of the pattern. Or if you find out it wasn’t what you really wanted after all. The exciting thing is that now there are SO many removable wallpaper options! I thought I’d share my favorites.

Below are my current favorite spots to find stylish removable wallpaper. These are my go to’s and where I actually shop.
Wallpaper comes in rolls and strips and lots of different sizes. So to simplify things, I thought I’d share a price per square footage on their less expensive options- so you can compare apples with apples (price wise). At the end of the day, I 100% suggest picking wallpaper based on what you love for your home, but these should be a good starting point.
Note, I included images of my favorite wallpaper. It might not necessarily be the most affordable option on the site, but more a representation of style.
Second note, where possible, I suggest buying or ordering a sample of the wallpaper before committing. This will help you see the color and scale in the room. It won’t cost you much, but it can help you make much better decisions.
And finally, make sure to check the home page for each vendor before ordering. Some are shipping on a regular schedule, but some shop’s are delayed. It’s totally understandable, but just make sure to verify if you do want something.

Designs: Oh Anthropologie! How I love you! Pretty designs, market exclusives, so many good options!

Designs: A huge variety of patterns. This is another shop that has some beautiful modern papers and then that I’d pass on. But with being picky, you can find some special ones here!

Designs: I like Taget’s wallpaper because you can buy some in store (which is rare). There’s some great designs, but I have found their wallpapers to be on a thinner material so I don’t suggest using them is you’re wallpapering a textured wall.

Designs: I love Urban Outfitters because they carry that floral wallpaper I used on a bathroom and it made the space! On trend, unique. Impeccable designs. The down side is that they come in 48″ lengths so they’re better if you plan on having a chair rail and the paper goes above it.

Designs: Etsy seller who is based in Vancouver. I love the muddy tones and details that look drawn.
