The most popular blog post I have EVER written was this one, where I shared my secret source for buying baby moccasins for cheap. And what’s cheap? Less than $5 a pair!
I wrote that blog post about 6 months ago, so I thought I would give you an update on how they are holding up.
Above are how the moccasins look now. Here are the pros and cons of these shoes:
Pros:
- They lasted 6 months and still fit
- They are fast and easy to put on
- They stay on when they are on
- They are inexpensive
- I get compliments on these all of the time. Moms come up to me on the playground and ask me where I got these.
- They go with lots of outfits
Cons:
- The toes scuff where they are dragged from crawling
- The fringe wears poorly and can rip off
- If you don’t wear with socks, baby’s feet will stink
- They take 3-4 weeks to arrive after placing the order
I’ll be honest they are a little beat up. Especially the grey ones, he wore those ones the most (they go with everything)! My baby is 13 months old and they have fit him since he was 7 months old. He wore them a few times a week and the toes are worn down from all of the crawling. If I were to go back in time, I would buy more pairs or even two pair of the grey ones. Since Don is almost to the next size, I decided to buy a few more pairs in the next size up.
The ones from this seller wore the best, so I bought three pair- red, blue, and dark coffee. (This seller is no longer available) They came packaged really well:

Aren’t they so cute?! They took 3 weeks and 3 days to arrive, so plan ahead if you are going to order them.
Bottom line- I love them enough that I bought them again! I have given them as gifts and always recommend them. Yes, they do show wear but I think that they last long enough and are cute enough for the $4 price tag. If you need help on which size to buy, I have a moccasin sizing guide here.
