I was super happy with my living room when I shared it a few weeks ago. Except one thing- I needed blackout drapes. Why? Well, the sun is always shining in this room (which I love!), but that makes it hard for TV watching. Which is a major problem for my husband who loves football.
Around here, our dogs are considered members of our family. We have a dog bed for Derek in the kitchen, but in the living room, where Lucy usually sleeps, we didn’t have a designated space for her. So I did what any other crafty dog mom would, I made her one! And it was incredibly easy!
When I first moved into my house, I knew I had two layout options that would work for our living room. I quickly set-up one and lived with it. The room felt choppy and closed off, but we were busy with other things so I didn’t put much thought into it. Here’s a picture for reference:
