I’ve been sharing some room walk-throughs of my Florida house so I thought up next I’d do a dinosaur room tour. This is my six year old son Don’s space. I really love the whimsey of the wallpaper and rainbow shelves. I’ve never done a full room overview of this space, so let’s get started!

So, first up, let’s talk about the dinosaur wallpaper. I found it on Pinterest and knew it was perfect. It’d sadly now discontinued, but it pulled my design together.
From there we built the rainbow dinosaur shelves. They turned out so cute and were a fun way to display his toys. I just love that it’s a colorful way to show off something my son loves.
Most of the furniture in the bedroom are thrifted. One of my best finds was when I got the bamboo nightstand and dresser for $37! The headboard for the bed was a DIY made from a rug!
If you look up close. to the drapes, they have little tassels that match the wallpaper. I love details like that! Isn’t this the perfect space for a dinosaur lover?!
On the wall with the dresser, I painted a simple arch to anchor the large piece. Between you and me, that dresser was full of lego bricks! We made more rainbow shelves for his books and a little reading corner.
