The Cutest Retro Microwaves

As we’ve been adjusting to life in our new home, there was one thing in my kitchen I’ve been missing. So I shopped around for one that would go with our other retro appliances. And I found some very cute options that I want to share with you. Here are the cutest retro microwaves.

Well, my kitchen has come a long way since we moved to Florida in January. Especially since I gave it a mini one day makeover that made the biggest difference!

While I contemplate all the changes I want to make in our full kitchen renovation, I’m focusing on the small tweaks I can make right now.

Also, we haven’t had a microwave here in Florida and we’ve really been missing it! We’ve just been warming everything up on the stove (warming up leftover pizza in a pan has been making me laugh 😂).

Honestly, I didn’t realize how much we used a microwave until we lived without one. 

So, even though it’s more of an upgrade than a part of what you’d consider renovation…I decided to get a microwave.

Since our other two appliances are retro, I shopped around to see if I could find a similar throwback style microwave.

While there are tons of options in the blue/green family, I didn’t want to try and match the exact color and get the look wrong. I want to make my entire space something that I love and makes me happy.

On that note, we went with a white microwave! Which is a shade I don’t usually go for, but it looks so cute with all the other colors in the room.

So, I want to share some of the cutest options that I found. Many of them are just as affordable as a “normal” microwave, which is great! If you’re in the market for a new microwave, a retro version could be a fun option.

Also, I love all the different takes on retro. Some of them have more of a ’50s vibe, while others are probably more ’80s.
