Want to know something strange- I don’t have much Valentine’s decor. I love pink and hearts and I maybe have 2-3 designated pieces of Valentine’s decor. So I decided to remedy that and makeover my mantle with some cute and custom Valentine’s decor. Along with the Valentine’s mantle, I wanted to share some personalized gift ideas.
This blog post was written as part of my collaboration with eBay. All opinions are my own
Valentine’s mantle

Here’s the mantle with the Valentine’s decor. I wanted to do a combination of vintage and new items. Let me tell you about the special touches-
First of all, I grabbed some branches from my yard. I wanted to make a Valentine’s tree so I could hang some heart ornaments. This is actually inspired by the centerpieces from my wedding so this is sentimental and makes a big visual impact too.
Next to the branches I put a brass photo holder with a vintage Valentine. If you look up close, there’s angles on the holder. So cute! I also added a pink Wedgwood trinket box. I’ve always wanted to own some Jasperware so a heart container seemed perfect for Valentine’s Day.
love vase
On the right side of the Valentine’s mantle is a set of vases that spell love. These are new and I love the fluting and modern style with the soft pink. I was so excited for these and they look beautiful with some daisies in them!
I recently had a pair of portraits made of my dogs! Aren’t they so pretty! I got them for the mantle, but I ended up liking them over here more. Aren’t the bamboo gold frames pretty?!
Next to the love vase, I placed some wood candlesticks with custom twisty candles on top. These come from a seller who makes them on order in any color and in a variety of scents. I went with a rose scent and all pink candles! I love them.
Next to the candles is a vintage brass cherub figurine. I really leaned into the Valentine’s Day theme and am excited to pull these little special touches out each year!
On the mirror I hung a heart wreath. I like the depth it gives to the mantle decor and, of course, the pink heart is a nice touch. Over the top of the garland, I swagged a pom pom garland for some texture and pattern. It’s technically an Easter garland, but I figure I can leave it out through the spring- that’s a win win!
So there’s my Valentine’s mantle. I love how festive it is. The mantle was empty after Christmas so I’m really enjoying the new decor. What’s your favorite part of it? Can you believe that all the decor is from eBay?! I love the mix of old and new decor.

Whenever I’m giving a gift, I like to really consider what they’d like and how I can make them feel special. A great way to do that is with a personalized gift. I used a few on my mantle and I thought I’d highlight some other great options all from eBay!
candles-
For my Valentine’s Day mantle I ordered a set of 6 of these twisty candles. These are on trend and can be personalized! I choose all pink candles in a rose scent. Any color can be ordered in scents like lavender, beach, forest, or rose. Choosing these modern candles in the perfect color for someone else and then lighting them for a cozy dinner would be so fun!
This cute candle is available in a few scents. Think about how great it would be to have a custom picture and name of your choice. You could put on a logo of a friend’s business or a picture that’d make someone laugh. And, of course, a sentimental photo would be amazing.
portraits-
I wanted to share this custom house art as a gift option because this is something I’d personally love to receive! There’s a few options with this gift- giving a picture of a house someone currently lives in, or a childhood home would be really special too.
Here is another great portrait option! This could be a drawing of someone or this eBay seller also does house portraits in oil painting. I’d love a portrait of my son as a special gift.
And if we’re talking about portraits- I have to mention a dog portrait! For my mantle, I had a few created for my dogs. I have an oil painting of my dogs in my bathroom. I adore my pups and think they’re so cute- might as well have them for art too! Most people would love a picture of their current or past dog.
kitchen
In my kitchen I have a framed recipe from my grandma. Her handwriting is like art to me! So when I saw this cutting board with a custom engraved recipe– I thought it’d be the perfect gift! Sentimental and beautiful in a kitchen.
If you have someone in your life that’s a chef, it’d be fun to give them a personalized cookbook. This would also be a great gift for a newlywed or a college student with a few special recipes written in.
I found a seller on eBay who makes the cutest custom mugs! There’s a bunch of fun graphics that are really adorable. Even a couple ones which would be so cute for Valentine’s Day.
This custom bamboo tray would be so cute in a kitchen or really any room of a house. It’s shown as adding a logo, but a monogram would be cute or a last name or a funny saying with an inside joke.
jewelry
I’ve been watching And Just Like That and was reminded of how much I love Carrie’s name necklace. I feel like this gold personalized name necklace is the modern version of that! Very chic.
I also found a name necklace in cursive! I think giving someone their first name or their child’s name would be very nice.
On my right hand I wear a stack of three little rings with birthstones from my son, husband, and myself. Our little family in rings! They’re dainty and perfect to wear everyday. I found these birthstone rings on eBay and thought they’d be lovely as a gift.
I feel like custom jewelry could be given with a personalized jewelry box. Or this beautiful pink jewelry box could be given on its own. It has a name on the glass and I love the fun color it comes in. It’s also available in black, white, or light blue.
For a little bit more subtle jewelry box, I wanted to share this wood option with a monogram. This one just has felt inside so it could be used for a variety of things. I think a box like this would be perfect for pretty remote storage.
she shed gifts
If you have a gardener in your life, I think this set of gardening tools would be lovely. They could be engraved with the gardener’s name. I’d love a set with “Ashley’s She Shed” on it!
Of course, this custom Mason jar could be great for a kitchen or bar. I have a set of these for my she shed that I use for holding cut flowers. They look beautiful in the spring full of tulips! Mine are customized with cute sayings like “grow wild.”
on the go
I went on a girl’s trip a few years ago and surprised everyone with a custom bag! It was so fun to have matching bags! These tote bags have lots of color options and you can, of course, change the monogram.
How about a pastel personalized water bottle for a cute gift?! The colors these come in are adorable. Everyone should have a good water bottle and it makes it so much more fun to have your name on it!
leather gifts
I think this engraved leather tool belt is gorgeous. Would my husband like it? Yes. Would I? Absolutely! I’m a girl who is always doing a project so having this for tools or even paint brushes would be so cool. Perfect for the DIYer in your life.
For the last personalized gift, how about a leather monogrammed journal?! It looks expensive and would be so special for someone who likes to write, keep a journal, or it’d even be great as an artist sketch book!
There are 20 of my favorite personalized gifts. Can you believe they’re all from eBay?! I personally use eBay a bunch for vintage finds, but they’re also great for specialized items like these too! These would be great for Valentine’s Day or could work for other holidays or birthdays. Which gift would you most like to receive?
I hope you liked the gift ideas and the Valentine’s mantle decor.

Can you tell me what the vine/branch of flowers on the wall behind your mantle is? Custom paint, stencil, wallpaper? Thanks
