Let me tell you about a dream I have always had- it is to own a bar cart. This is a little weird simply because I don’t actually drink alcohol- haha. But a well styled bar cart is just gorgeous! The sparkling glass, some pretty flowers, beautiful metal serve ware- it just gets my little designer heart going.

Let me introduce you to my new acrylic bar cart!
The acrylic is nice and thick and super sturdy. It comes on casters so it moves with ease (which is perfect for keeping out of the way of my sweet toddler). But the thing about bar carts is that they have so many uses! I brainstormed them and here are my 15 favorite uses:

I decided to first style the cart is the most classic way- as a bar.
styling 1- bar
I used a tray to corral the main items and loved the idea of propping art to add dimension to the piece. The acrylic is so visually light; it really lets the accessories shine. My favorite accessory is that ceramic pineapple (from Down East Home). A few pretty drinks and a shaker later, we have a pretty bar! I had fun taking pictures while Don napped and when he woke up, he loved exploring the cart. I don’t usually let him play with glass, but I was right there to make sure he didn’t break anything.
styling 2- record player stand
Next up, I set the cart up to hold my record player. I really loved this set-up! The shelves are just the perfect height to hold the records in the perfect vertical position. I added some books, art, cameras, and the super fun peace hand and we were good to go! I put on some music and we had a lovely time!
styling 3- nightstand
For my last set-up I used the cart as a night stand. I love the storage on my normal night stand, but I really liked being able to see all of my pretty things. The tray for my jewelry was so nice to have at the end of the night. For a girl who loves white with pops of color, this cart is perfect! It is nice and modern but really lets the accessories shine through
