Last week, I let you in on my extremely exciting plans for my bathroom renovation. As a quick refresh, I’m redoing my bathroom in 6 weeks as part of the One Room Challenge. Let’s revisit the mood board:

Now I want to dive deeper and help you and I envision what will go where. Let’s start with the wall with the vanity:
vanity wall
subway tiles / faucet / wallpaper / sconce / mirror / vanity
This is going to be the hero view of the whole project. Functionality wise, I am most excited for the new vanity. Visuals wise, I am so looking forward to getting rid of the painted wall and lightening and brightening everything up. The subway tile on the bottom half of the walls is going to give it a classic vibe. Meanwhile, the brass modern light fixtures and mirror will add a modern touch.
above the toilet
subway tiles / wallpaper / shower curtain / toilet / pink art / white art / wall shelves
Around the toilet will be a fun area because I will have some shelves with art, plants, and bathroom things like a candle/q tips/ bubble bath. To keep it simple, I choose a plainer shower curtain (the fringe trim details keeps it fun) so it will play nicely with the pattern in the wallpaper and the interest from the subway tile.
to the left of the vanity

On the left side of the vanity, I have my favorite art in the whole room from Minted! My fingers are crossed that it won’t be too busy on top of the wallpaper. For the bathroom, I am using matching brass fixtures for the towel bar, towel ring, toilet paper holder, and shower curtain rod. Pretty much, I like to use one finish to unite the room and I love that they are all from one vendor and will match nicely.

First up, I wanted to get the walls painted. I figured that painting before I started putting in the new items would be smart. Technically, I don’t need to paint, but if we ever sell our condo then the wallpaper will probably come down. I’d rather get it done now while it is easy. I only have one wall started, but #progress
Second, the art has arrived! I wanted to share with you some pictures of it because it is stunning! The art is all from Minted. Personally, I love shopping with them because they have such a curated gallery. I love pink and they have so many options in pink and honestly every color way that are gorgeous.

Last, I just found out that the tile and vanity have shipped! After I spent the weekend with Overstock, I was more in love with their company than ever. I reached out to them about teaming up with me on redoing my bathroom and they said yes! I am so excited that 90% of the bathroom renovation items I will be adding are from Overstock!
Check next Thursday for the next bathroom update!

The artwork is beautiful and I especially love the little pooch at the end! That vanity is gorgeous and it would work perfectly in my bathroom since I need one that sits lower on the floor now! 😉 Looking forward to seeing it all come together!
Hi Kim! Thanks- I’m obsessed with the art! I was totally in suspense reading your post. I’m so happy that you can get a new vanity quickly! Your floor is dreamy and one of the options I was considering. Love that we’re redoing bathrooms together!
Thanks Tim! I can’t wait for the wallpaper either! I hope it gives it a fun modern vibe!
Oh my goodness! This is just so pretty, love the print and the new vanity!
Awww, Thanks Libbie! I really appreciate that!
This looks fabulous Ashley! I LOVE the feminine flare and those brass details are perfection!!
Thanks so much Tamara! Yay for non 80’s brass 😉
I agree. I absolutely love that pink wallpaper design. With the black and white penny tiles, that’s going to be one charming and beautiful bathroom. Thank you very much for sharing!
