Let’s make a dollhouse dresser from an Ikea Tarva dresser! ✨🏡

We outgrew Don’s old dresser so I upgraded him to a bigger size. I figured we might as well have fun while we’re at it! 💃🏻

The design is inspired by vintage Singer dollhouse furniture. If I couldn’t have the original, I might as well make my own! 💪🏻

I think this would be so cute in so many spaces! And it can be customized with different colors. 💗

Don recently turned 8. And I just can’t believe

Don recently turned 8. And I just can’t believe how fast it all goes! 💗🥹

I’m re-doing his room and trying to make it as magical as possible. Because he’ll be a teenager soon and I’m just trying so hard to hold onto the last of his childhood 👨‍👩‍👦

I’m adding places for all his favorite things and really celebrating what he loves. Because I only have so many more years with him 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sometimes I get a hard time for how I decorate a boys room. But it’s all for him 💚✨

I just want him to have such beautiful memories in this home! 🏡

So proud of this IKEA Billy bookcase hack for Don’s room! 📚

This space needed something to anchor it and now there’s built-ins, a fireplace, and secret storage! 🤫💃🏻

Can you believe this all started with affordable bookshelves?! And now we have a floor to ceiling library!!! 🎉

And yes, I did rainbow the books. I love the aesthetic and Don painted a piece of art for each shelf! 🌈

🔥 Fireplace reveal 🔥

I decided Don’s room needed something substantial to ground it. So we built a fireplace flanked by bookcases. The shelves aren’t quite done, but look at this fireplace! 🤩

Last week I made the tiles and seeing them in place is so satisfying! 🥹✨

I’m using Don’s favorite colors 💚 and motifs 🐱in here. It’ll be a happy mix of what we both love.

I wanted to find a way to take a graphic from my computer and transfer it to cheap Home Depot tile. This process worked like a charm! 🙌🏻

Here’s the thing- it’s still winter. And I’m sick of it. But since we’re here, might as well be cozy and cute! So I made a quilt dress. 👗

Do I make clothes that a 5 year old would like? Yes 🤗
Is it more fun that way? Absolutely 😂

My sister thrifted me this quilt so I made Lucy and I matching outfits. It’s been fun to slowly get better at sewing. 🧵

And I just love that this dress I imagined is now reality! That’s the beauty of being a creator ✨💗
