This winter felt like the longest ever. In January and February when I was done with the cold weather, I started dreaming of all the ways I was going to make our backyard a happy place to hang out. Step one- an umbrella. I started the hunt and here are my favorites-

The walls on my she shed were rough- beautiful wood, but the nails from installing the exterior poked through. That was covered by Styrofoam insulation which was terrible to look at. I didn’t like the idea of throwing away the Styrofoam (because of the mess and environmental reasons), so I decided that shiplap was the way to go!
