It’s been a LONG time since I’ve done a room reveal around here! I guess moving will do that to you. So, I figured now that I put the finishing touches in here and it’s finally feeling cozy, it’d be as good as timing as ever. Here’s my pink master bedroom room reveal!

pink master bedroom reveal
Let’s start with the video walk through of the room so you get an overview on how the space has evolved. Then, I’ll dive in with more details below:
If the video doesn’t work here, you can watch it on YouTube here. I’d be over the moon happy if you subscribed to my YouTube channel! Videos are actually released on YouTube first (usually the night before they’re published on the blog). Thank you!
Before
When we first moved in mid January, this is how the room looked. Dated fan, beige walls, black windows. It was a great blank slate! Our last home was built in 1905 and every room needed massive work to get it to this point. So this 1950’s house felt like a great starting point.
The first thing I did was paint the bottom of the room a white. My favorite white that is, Ultra Pure White by Behr. When I put white on the walls, it feels like home to me.
And then, I started on the major design moment in the room- the pink palm wallpaper from Milton and King. This wallpaper is stunning! It has so much movement and the colors are perfect for my color scheme. The pattern is extra big (there was an A and a B repeat with this paper) which gives you more to look at.
After the wallpaper was up, we nailed up the chair railing and started moving furniture in. Already, this felt pretty much done! Even if we had our air mattress on the floor in my son’s room at this point ;).
Then a big upgrade came to the room- a real bed with a bed frame. It felt unbelievably good to sleep in a bed with night stands! In a room that I had worked hard on. I know most people don’t start on the master, but for me, it really felt good to have this special space.
I kept making small changes to the room, like by adding a wall hanging over the bed. And a bench at the end of the bed. And a new fan.
A subtle change we made (that was actually a lot of work-lol) was installing the picture molding. The extra molding really elevated the room and gives dimensions where the room felt flat.
At this point, we got new windows! The old black ones (that wouldn’t open) were replaced with hurricane windows which aesthetically was Abigails upgrade.
After- Bed Wall
I’ve since added a few small things that’ve finished things off. Right now, having the luxury to even add a plant with a basket feels like a big blessing. I know this time is so uncertain for so many. I know room reveals probably seem silly, but it’s been so nice having a space that feels like a sanctuary.
At night, this is the last room I see. It’s where I read my book before drifting off to sleep. It’s where I sneak away to in the day when I need a minute. Thank you for letting me share this space even if it seems frivolous right now.
After- Vanity Wall

The vanity is one of my favorite moments in the room. That gold leaf mirror is just so special! I love the little desk with the small drawer perfect for my makeup. The thrifted chair and accessories add some character. Yes, the closet doors that don’t close right make me crazy- lol! But ignore those- the vanity is pretty great 😉
After- Wall 3

My second favorite moment in the room is the little dresser. At first, I didn’t get this gorgeous piece, but I thought it might be great for storage. And it is! To be honest, it holds crafting supplies. In a 890 square foot house, every extra bit of storage means a lot.
One day, I’d like to have a small chair or bench by the closet. But for now, it’s good enough. We used to have a bench in here, but moved it into the living room for extra seating during Don’s birthday party and haven’t moved it back since.
Before and After
And now for the most satisfying thing- a before and after gif! Dang, this room has come a long way! I’d love to hear your favorite part in the comments if you have a minute. And thank you for coming here and reading. It really means a lot to me.

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe how fast you work. I love your new art. The negative space plays so well with the wallpaper.
Thanks Jewel! Yes, the art really added that pause the room needed💕
The windows make a huge difference but the wall paper also is a leading star!
Thanks Eleanor! I adore the wallpaper. It’s actually a lot softer in person than it looks in pictures!
