When we first moved into our house, this is what the porch looked like- fine, but nothing special. The doors were white vinyl with an arched window. And lots of dents and scratches. I dreamed about changing it, and finally that happened!

We ordered our new door through Simpson Door Company. I chose the 3130 door because of its classic lines- isn’t it perfect for our house!? The door is made of solid fir wood. It is handcrafted and was made custom for our house. The door is heavy and gorgeous!

I painted the front Beloved Pink by Behr in satin. I’ve had so many people say that it is the perfect pink and I agree! It is soft and sweet, not too bold, but still fun. Ready to see how it turned out?!

I have to say- having this view is such a dream come true! I honestly almost started crying when we attached the center onlay (the fancy molding) above the door. We lived in a condo for 9 years with a door we couldn’t paint and then rented. So to have a gorgeous door of my own- it means the world to me.

We have two front doors on our house (got to love old homes!). This one leads to our living room. We replaced both doors and painted them Beloved Pink. They are a joy to come home to. If you haven’t painted your front door and can- I really suggest it! It’ll take you less than an hour and then you have the happiest sight when you arrive.

Anyway, I love LOVE the front doors! They make me smile whenever I see them. I’m so happy to have quality doors that feel original. The molding on the door are stunning and the pink really finishes them off!

I recently got the CUTEST fall hey there pumpkin doormat from Etsy. Its the perfect happy touch when I arrive! I layered it over a pink floral rug and I’m in love! I thought I’d share some fun doormat layering options in case you want to try this too!
