Today I went thrift shopping and hit the jackpot with brass finds! There were bow details on candle sticks and a tray with bamboo trim- swoon! But they were badly tarnished. I decided to give them a good cleaning and thought I’d document the process and share how to clean brass.
Easter is in a week and a half (April 4th) so NOW is the time to order a cute dress for yourself! I feel so much hope this spring (which is more than I can say for last year) and what better way to celebrate then getting dressed up?! Here’s what I’m looking for in an Easter dress-
Easter is right around my birthday so I have lovely memories of hunting for eggs, dying eggs, and dressing up for a fancy dinner. All this makes Easter one of my favorite holidays! Plus it’s the most pastel time of year for clothes and decorating, which you know I love.

It’s wallpaper time in my laundry nook! This space started out as very utilitarian in our garage, but has since been upgraded. I even added in marble tile! And today, the wallpaper is going up. I thought I’d share the process and some laundry room wallpaper ideas.
One thing that’s easy to skip when planning out tile is the lay out. I know, I know- you have your supplies and you’re ready to see progress. But taking the time to figure out the perfect starting point is worth it! Since January I’ve been meaning to get my kitchen tidied up. First step- spice drawer organization! This is the messiest drawer and I thought- since the eye likes repetition, I might as well put all my spices into the same containers. And take the time to do it my way- girly and fun!
