My Favorite Thrift Shops in Logan, Utah

When I was little, I grew up shopping at thrift stores. That thrifty attitude really stuck with me and now I love finding affordable pieces and the thrill of the hunt! Plus, adding vintage really adds some soul to a home. I have a big list of thrift shops across the US, but I thought I’d share my favorite thrift shops in Logan, Utah! It’s one of my most asked questions on Instagram!

I love thrifting because it’s so exciting- there’s the thrill of the hunt. I also really appreciate that it’s so good for the environment. You’ll never get something cheaper than from a thrift shop. Plus I just believe that adding old items really adds soul to a room! I can imagine how loved they were and it’s fun to give them a second chance!

DIY Yarn Wall hanging

Who’s for some honesty? I love my master bedroom wallpaper- it’s fun and perfect for a Florida House. But in pictures, it’s a little heavy for my liking. Of course, things will even out as I add art and more trim. To start that process, I thought I’d make a DIY yarn wall hanging with the secret ingredient being a bath mat!

Here’s the inspiration for my wall hanging. This one is from Anthropologie. I definitely wanted something more neutral since there is so much going on with the wallpaper. The tassels and fringe though, those I love!

DIY Dinosaur Shelf

I’ve been working hard on my son’s dinosaur’s bedroom. He’s obsessed with Dinos and so I am doing my best to feed that love. A few days ago I hung the cutest dinosaur wallpaper and painted the bed. Upcycled furniture ideas $15 Thrift Store Hutch

Well hello! So I’ve been slowly furnishing my house. It’s been fun to do a mix of new items, thrifted items, and DIYs. While I was at the thrift store, I found a $15 hutch! I desperately need storage in my living room and the height is great so I grabbed it. I thought I’d share how I redid it with some uprecycled furniture ideas.

Here’s the before. I know it looks great, but it was crazy dirty! With wax spilled on it and stickers stuck to it. It needed some love! I did think about keeping it the natural color, but after deciding what to do on the shelves, I decided that going white with the paint was best.

I was thrifting when I found the sweetest twin headboard and footboard! Don was there and loved them for his room. Sadly, there were no side rails or bed slats. DIY Spray Painted Pink Palm Trees

One thing I like to do is try to spot new trends. I just love seeing what’s fresh and try to implement it in my house! like a few months ago, I spotted a picture of pink palm trees! Maybe that’s something I could do? I thought. This look could be cute in lots of colors, but I am seeing it mostly in pink or white with any tropical plants. 2020 Project Plans
