The truth is, I wasn’t planning on painting my kitchen counter tops. But as I slowly painted my fridge and cabinets, they looked uglier in comparison to the rest of the kitchen. I kept getting asked what I was doing for my kitchen counter tops on social media. I searched on Pinterest, but was stumped. A reader mentioned painting them and I thought “maybe I could paint them to look like marble.”

A few days ago, I shared a tip on Instagram stories- I suggest buying pillow covers/shams as opposed to a fully stuffed pillow. That way you can store pillow covers folded up WAY more efficiently than you can a bunch huge pillows. I do this so I can switch out the shams out with seasons or as my mood dictates while saving space.

Tuesday was a big day at our house- Don had his first day of preschool! A month ago, we toured a bunch of places and finally found one that everyone felt really good about about it.
