Don’s room is finally complete! The last time I shared on here, we had just finished the cloud mural and we were ready to add the furnishings back in. I had the idea to do the install while Don was in preschool and when he arrived, we did a big reveal. I think Don was a little overwhelmed at the big change and said he wasn’t that impressed- lol!
But, I love the room and he does too now! Are you ready to see how it turned out?
Buying this house, one thing really perplexed me- where would we eat? There isn’t a dining room, just a large kitchen. So we put our table (that was too big) in the kitchen and it was fine. I didn’t like having to push the table against the wall and it was really hard to get in and out of the room.

We had an electrician come and center the ceiling fan in the room. He also put a light box and switch for the new closet. Next up the shiplap will go on the ceiling and then we’ll lay the new floors!

For the first time in my life, I have a big porch to decorate for the holidays! Plus a son that is the perfect age (3) to get involved too. But our porch was a little lackluster. We have a 1905 Victorian home, but somehow, had a porch without any charm. I recently did a front porch makeover with the help of The Home Depot.
