Don (my sweet little 2.5 year old) got a big boy bed! He still sleeps well in his crib and hasn’t jumped out since he was 9 months old- which gave up both a heart attack. Today I have a big announcement for you… Drum roll please!!!
We are moving to Florida! On January 8th, our little family is packing up and driving across the country to live in Miami, Florida for a few months. I know there will be a TON of questions, so I will do my best to answer all of them.
We got a work opportunity in Miami and we just couldn’t say no. My husband and I have dreamed for years of being snow birds and getting out of Utah for the winter. We LOVE where we live, but the winter isn’t our favorite part. The air gets really dirty here and so it isn’t healthy to go outside during times in the winter. For one year, we’re so excited to skip that!

Every year I am super interested to hear what Pantone chooses as the color of the year. Pantone’s pick definitely influences trends and can be a good forecaster of what is to come. This year they choose Ultra Violet as the 2018 color of the year and I’ll be honest, it seems a little out of left field. Violet is such a bold and overbearing color that I wasn’t so sure.

A few weeks ago, I put up my Christmas decorations in my living room. It took all day and I was tiiiiired after it was done. So I packed everything up and decided having one room decorated was good enough.
I think sometimes creativity takes time to build up. I’ve been itching for a fun project, and decided to use the leftover decor I have for the entry.
